Our SAM4 platform detects failures inside the motor control cabinet - without installing sensors on the asset itself. Today we monitor thousands of assets across industries such as water, chemicals, mining, and oil & gas.

The Role 👥

We’re looking for a Content Producer to build and run Samotics’ content production capability from the ground up. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who loves making things - shooting and editing video, designing assets, building templates, and producing content that helps the business grow.

You’ll work closely with the marketing team and across the rest of the business to significantly expand the scope and quality of content we produce - bringing new creative capability that amplifies our reach and impact.

At the heart of the role is visual storytelling: helping Samotics tell its customers’ success stories in compelling, beautiful ways that resonate with prospects, partners, and the wider industry.

AI is changing what’s possible in content production - from generating visuals and motion graphics with tools like Runway and Midjourney, to AI-powered video editing with Descript, to using Claude and other AI platforms for scripting, repurposing, and scaling content across formats and channels. We want someone who embraces these tools to produce more, move faster, and push creative quality higher than a traditional team of this size could achieve.

This is a builder role: ideal for a self-starter who thrives on variety, ships fast, and takes real pride in their craft.

Your Challenge 🎯

• Build and own the content production engine at Samotics - creating a steady, high-quality stream of assets across video, motion, design, and social

• Shoot and edit video at events, customer sites, and in-office - turning raw footage into compelling short-form clips optimised for social platforms

• Create animations and motion graphics for social media, campaigns, and internal communications - using AI generation tools like Runway, Kling, and Adobe Firefly alongside traditional design software

• Take Samotics brand guidelines and turn them into scalable, reusable templates the wider team can use

• Produce sales enablement assets - visuals, one-pagers, and campaign materials that help commercial teams communicate our value

• Tell our customers’ success stories visually - producing case study videos, testimonial content, and visual narratives that bring real customer impact to life

• Own LinkedIn content production - creating visuals, short-form video, and graphics for the Samotics company page

• Create email marketing templates and campaign visuals, ensuring consistent brand quality across every touchpoint

• Build AI-powered production workflows - using tools like Descript, Opus Clip, ElevenLabs, Canva Magic Studio, and generative AI to accelerate ideation, editing, and distribution

• Capture behind-the-scenes content featuring the Samotics team, culture, and day-to-day activity to support employer branding

Requirements

What You Bring ⭐

Skills and experience

• 4+ years of experience in content production, creative production, or a similar hands-on role

• Exceptional visual design skills - Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Canva - with the ability to turn a brand system into beautiful, scalable templates and assets

• Expert-level proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar

• Strong copywriting ability in English: clear, engaging captions, scripts, and short-form content - fluency in written and spoken English is a must

• Genuine enthusiasm for AI-powered creative tools - you’re already experimenting with platforms like Midjourney, Runway, Descript, ElevenLabs, or similar, and you see AI as a way to produce better work faster, not a shortcut

• A social-first mindset: you understand what performs on LinkedIn, short-form video, and digital channels

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, hitting deadlines without dropping quality

• A maker’s mentality - you’re a self-starter who ships work, iterates fast, and takes real pride in what you put out

• Experience in a B2B environment is a strong plus - particularly turning complex customer stories into content that resonates commercially

• Flexibility to occasionally join shoots at client sites or events
