We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Leasing Agent to support our property management operations remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. property management practices and hands-on experience with Section 8 housing programs. In this role, you will manage leasing inquiries, qualify leads, coordinate showings, and guide applicants through the leasing process from first contact to move-in.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner.
- Pre-screen applicants based on property criteria and assist with application processing.
- Manage, track, and follow up with leasing leads to maximize conversion rates.
- Schedule and coordinate virtual and/or in-person property showings.
- Prepare and assist with leasing paperwork, including lease agreements and addendums.
- Support applicants through the Section 8 process and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Buildium and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar).
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the leasing journey.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure smooth tenant onboarding and move-ins.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate support.
- Solid understanding of Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher programs.
- Experience using Buildium or similar property management software.
- Proficient in Google Workspace tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Comfortable handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated in a remote work setting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize leads, and meet leasing deadlines.
