Virtual Family & Consumer Science Educator (certification required)

$245 daily rate; rates are negotiable and subject to change
This job is fully remote, 1099 contract
The position is needed to start ASAP. The educator will teach 5 days a week. It is block scheduling; 30 students in each class; starting at 830 AM and ending at 4 PM EST
Course: Child Development 1. They will be using Child Development: Early Stages through Age 12, 8th Ed. Reality Works Babies as their textbook.
South Carolina (or be willing to seek reciprocity) Teaching Certification in Family & Consumer Science is required.

• Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
• Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
• Keep track of student grades and performance

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and hold a current, professional teaching certification in Family and Consumer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
