Video Game Producer

Tentworks Interactive is seeking a driven Video Game Producer to oversee the development and production of our exciting projects. As a Video Game Producer, you will play a crucial role in managing the project lifecycle from inception to launch, ensuring that each game meets its objectives and is delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with various teams, including design, art, programming, and marketing, to bring our games to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning and scheduling by creating project roadmaps that include milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with department heads to allocate resources effectively and ensure seamless communication among team members.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed on project progress and challenges.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and scope to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.
  • Identify potential issues and roadblocks, proactively developing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project updates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative team environment to ensure high morale and productivity throughout the development process.

Requirements

  • 9+ Proven experience as a Video Game Producer or in a similar role within the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of game development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience using project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment, capable of making strategic decisions under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of budget management and resource allocation.
  • Passion for video games and familiarity with gaming trends and market dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Business Administration, or relevant field. PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
