Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our post-production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing complex narratives and ensuring a seamless visual experience that aligns with the show runner’s vision. This role demands a high level of technical proficiency, creative instinct, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

In addition to editing responsibilities, this role will work closely with our Korean production team to support Korean-language contents, making fluency in Korean and English essential for effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with directors and producers to understand storylines and execute the intended narrative structure.
• Edit episodic content from initial assembly through final cut, incorporating feedback to refine and elevate the final product.
• Work with the Korean production team to support the post-production workflow for Korean-language contents.
• Manage timelines and workflows to ensure episodes are delivered on schedule.
• Conduct detailed quality control checks to ensure all episodes meet technical specifications and creative standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest editing technologies, workflows, and techniques to improve efficiency and output quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in episodic narrative content or similar formats.
• Fluency in Korean and English, with the ability to speak, read, and preferably write Korean to effectively communicate with Korean-speaking creative teams.
• Knowledge of Korean culture and the K-pop industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer.
• Strong understanding of narrative pacing, visual storytelling, and audio synchronization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with directors, producers, and international teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple episodes and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong passion for storytelling.

Eligibility:

• Interested candidates must submit a resume and work samples to be considered
• Must be willing to work in Culver City, CA for 5 days a week
• Must have work authorization in the United States.

Benefits
