Summary: We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our Agency team, with a strong focus on social-first and digital content. This role is responsible for crafting engaging, high-performing edits tailored to each platform. The ideal candidate is fast, detail-oriented, creatively driven, and highly attuned to social media pacing, emerging trends, and performance insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Video Editing & Creative Execution

  • Edit short‑form and long‑form content for social media, digital campaigns, and online platforms, ensuring optimal storytelling and platform alignment.
  • Own the full post-production process, from raw footage to final delivery, optimizing pacing, narrative clarity, sound, and polish for social performance.
  • Apply motion graphics, text animation, and visual treatments as needed to elevate edits.
  • Adapt edits based on feedback, performance insights, and evolving social trends.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work

  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, and Production teams to execute briefs efficiently and creatively.
  • Stay up to date on social platform trends, editing styles, and emerging tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to continuously improve creative output.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to support varying content needs based on workload and campaign priorities.

Brand & Technical Standards

  • Ensure all edits meet brand guidelines, technical requirements, and deadlines.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Film, Editing, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing social-first and digital-first edits.

Technical Expertise

  • High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and solid working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and text animation.
  • Strong understanding of post‑production fundamentals, including sound design, pacing, and basic color correction.
  • Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms and their video specifications.
  • Experience using AI tools in editing or post-production workflows is a plus.

Soft Skills & Behaviors

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
  • Experience in beauty or lifestyle content is a plus.
