We’re looking for a Part-Time Video Editor to support ongoing podcast, YouTube, and social video production. This role is ideal for an editor who is detail-oriented, comfortable working from clear production notes, and experienced editing talking-head and podcast-style content.
You’ll collaborate closely with a Senior Video Producer and Content team to deliver clean, polished edits across multiple formats, with a strong focus on accuracy, pacing, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Role focus
- Edit social clips from weekly podcast episodes (Gear / Fully Equipped podcast)
- Primary goal is to increase volume of social clips with fast turnaround and minimal revisions
- Execution-focused role — not creative direction, working from provided assets and templates
Core responsibilities
- Create 2–3 social clips per week from podcast recordings
- Identify strong moments for clips independently (not always scripted)
- Edit clips using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Add captions to all clips
- Cut between camera angles for smooth pacing
- Remove filler words, pauses, and dead space
- Return exported clips and/or Premiere project files for client review
- Maintain file structure and not rename assets
Workflow & turnaround expectations
- Fast turnaround required weekly
- Editor may work in focused blocks immediately after episode recording
Requirements
Must haves:
Proven experience editing:
- Podcast or talking-head video content
- YouTube long-form videos and/or social clips
Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro
(After Effects a plus, but not required)
Excellent English comprehension, especially for:
- Captions
- Text overlays
- On-screen copy
Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
Successful editor will:
- Deliver clips that require minimal revisions
- Select strong moments independently
- Create clean captions
- Turn around clips quickly each week
- Allow client to increase output volume efficiently
Nice to haves:
- Golf industry knowledge/experience is a major plus
- Experience with motion graphics or light animation
- Familiarity with Frame.io or similar review tools
- Understanding of platform-specific best practices (YouTube vs. social)
- Podcast audio cleanup or mixing experience
Other notes:
Turnaround Expectations
- 30-90 second social clips: same-day or within 24 hours (Editors are encouraged to be upfront about their realistic turnaround capabilities.)
- 1-2 rounds of revisions typically
- Creative reviews with internal team only (not customer facing)
- Editor comments are timestamped on Frame.io, also include written notes and live calls
Important Notes

Text overlays and captions are a critical quality area. Accuracy and clarity in English are essential.
- This role is production-focused and execution-driven — attention to detail matters more than flashy editing.
- Final edits may receive a US-based review for polish and accuracy.
