Define and execute the sales strategy for South East and North Asia, leading a multicultural team to drive growth and market penetration across diverse regions.

We are seeking a results-driven VP of Sales to lead and execute our go-to-market strategy across the South East and North Asia (SENA) region. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales vision, driving growth in both enterprise and public sector markets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the company's success in a diverse and rapidly evolving region.

The ideal candidate will anchor our SENA business, leading a team dedicated to accelerating market share, capturing key regional opportunities, and enhancing our overall presence. This leader should possess substantial experience in the Asian markets, deep customer and partner networks, and proven success navigating multi-country regulatory, compliance, and cultural dynamics. You will ideally be based in Singapore.

What you will do

Sales Leadership

  • Build, lead, and inspire a team of 6–7 high-performing sales professionals across the SENA region, adapting structure and resources based on evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Mentor and develop internal talent, preparing future regional sales leaders to support business scaling efforts.
  • Take direct ownership of key account relationships and high-impact initiatives, while ensuring strong operational oversight across the full region.

 

Regional Sales & Program Ownership

  • Serve as the General Manager for SENA sales, accountable for end-to-end ownership of the regional sales cycle and GTM execution.
  • Develop and refine regional strategies, aligning sales and business development with country-specific opportunities and regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted demand-generation programs and channel initiatives customized for the unique attributes of each SENA market.

 

Cross-Functional & Multicultural Collaboration

  • Partner closely with product marketing, channel, and solution engineering teams to ensure go-to-market alignment for the SENA portfolio.
  • Serve as the voice of the SENA market internally, consolidating input from local stakeholders and delivering critical market insights to global leadership.
  • Enable smooth communication and collaboration across cultures, time zones, and business practices within the SENA countries.

 

Market Development & Network Growth

  • Leverage established relationships within South East and North Asia to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
  • Engage meaningfully with enterprises, system integrators, regional partners, and key decision-makers to further the company’s presence and regional credibility.
  • Foster strong connections with government stakeholders and industry associations as appropriate for each market.

 

Geographic & Market Focus

  • Demonstrate a nuanced understanding of multiple countries’ business landscapes, regulatory requirements, and cultural expectations.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and scale multicultural regional sales teams.
  • Regional Expertise: Deep experience in technology sales across South East and North Asia, with proven success managing complex, multi-country sales cycles.
  • Strategic Impact: Track record of translating regional insights into actionable go-to-market initiatives that drive growth and market penetration.
  • Networked: Well-established relationships with major enterprise customers, partners, and channel organizations throughout the SENA region.
  • Adaptability: Cultural sensitivity and flexibility to operate successfully in fast-changing and varied business environments.

 

Additional Considerations

  • Regulatory/Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with regional regulations (e.g., data privacy, digital compliance, public procurement rules).
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English required; proficiency in at least one major Asian language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, etc.) is highly advantageous.
  • Cultural Fit: Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and adaptable to the expectations of both mature and emerging markets in Asia.
