To power this growth, we are establishing a flagship, state-of-the-art Shared Services Centre right here in Sofia.

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven VP of Shared Services to step into a dual-capacity leadership role as the executive head of our Shared Services Centre (SSC) and the registered General Manager ("Управител") for our Ocado Bulgaria entity. Based in Sofia, you will report directly to the CFO and spearhead the end-to-end leadership, transformation, and scaling of a centralised, high-quality operation initially covering Finance and People services. This is a critical, matrixed leadership role where you will own the operational delivery strategy, drive a culture of continuous improvement, manage local legal compliance, and scale a high-performing workforce.

About You

  • Senior experience establishing, running, and scaling a shared services, nearshoring, or multi-functional service delivery organization.
  • A track record of managing large operational budgets, tracking metric-driven SLA/KPI environments, and driving cost reductions and efficiency through process standardization.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and seamlessly collaborate within complex, matrixed governance frameworks.
  • Strong executional rigor with the ability to deliver results at pace in ambiguous environments, balanced with a working understanding of Finance and HR processes.
  • Sound judgment and discretion to balance hands-on operational leadership with the formal statutory and legal responsibilities of representing the Bulgarian entity.
