Job Summary
This role is responsible for strategically planning and managing sales and revenue growth initiatives, as well as the S&OP process, for the MIND Division of MAT Holdings. MIND services the Home Improvement sector with a wide range of Air Compressor products, primarily in home centers, Hardware Stores, and Mass Merchants. As a senior leader, this person will be involved in key divisional decisions and will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, Sourcing, and Logistics. The Vice President of Sales will be expected to manage and develop talent to support the business's needs.
Principle Responsibilities
- Develop plans and strategies for achieving the company’s budgeted sales and EBITDA targets.
- Foster a culture of success by driving sales and achieving specific goals.
- Guide the sales team by capitalizing on existing customer relationships, identifying new growth platforms, and leading program management.
- Coordinate sales training programs that enable the team to achieve their potential and support company objectives
- Manage customer expectations while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Define and execute sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting that incorporates customer point-of-sale (POS) and demand data.
- Lead the S&OP process and provide Purchasing with a rolling six-month demand plan to support customer demand.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to the division and leadership team.
- Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to establish a robust new product pipeline.
- Travel for in-person customer meetings and events to develop and strengthen key relationships

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, and marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred
- Minimum ten years of sales and marketing experience
- Minimum seven years in a leadership role managing a sales team
- Minimum five years of industry experience
