The Role We Need: PadSplit is hiring a Vice President of Member Growth to accelerate the growth of our member marketplace while strengthening the end-to-end experience for the people who rely on PadSplit to find affordable housing. This role is responsible for increasing active member adoption, improving retention, and building a sustainable, organic growth engine that supports long-term marketplace health. As a mission-critical leader, this role directly shapes how we scale impact, one room at a time. The Person We Are Looking For: We are looking for a proven B2C growth leader who combines deep analytical rigor with a genuine passion for serving customers at scale. This person takes full ownership of outcomes, thrives in cross-functional environments, and knows how to turn insight into experimentation (and experimentation into durable growth systems). Above all, this leader is mission-driven and deeply committed to helping more people find a safe, affordable place to call home. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
  • Member Acquisition: Drive strategies that increase qualified, active members across markets.
  • Retention Strategy: Improve member engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
  • Growth Experiments: Design, test, and scale data-driven growth initiatives.
  • Experience Feedback: Establish systems to capture, act on, and close the loop on member feedback.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and scale growth-related teams, including marketing and content.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Operations, and Marketplace leaders to optimize outcomes.
  • Mission Advocacy: Champion member needs and ensure decisions align with PadSplit’s purpose.
  • Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
  • B2C Growth Leadership: Proven experience scaling consumer growth in a marketplace or tech-enabled business.
  • Data Fluency: Strong ability to translate insights into action through experimentation and metrics.
  • Organic Growth Expertise: Track record of building sustainable, non-paid growth engines.
  • People Leadership: Experience leading, developing, and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Ability to drive alignment across product, marketing, and operations.
  • Customer Obsession: Deep empathy for users and commitment to improving their experience.
  • Mission Alignment: Passion for PadSplit’s work and belief in housing as a platform for stability and opportunity.
  • The Interview Process:
  • NO BOTS HERE: your resume will be reviewed by live humans from PeopleOps and the hiring manager, our President.
  • If we’re interested, the next step would be a phone screen with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes.
  • If it goes well, the next steps would be a video interview with hiring manager for one (1) hour.
  • If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our CEO for one (1) hour.
  • If warranted, the final step would be a video panel interview with key stakeholders at PadSplit for two (2) hours.
  • The panel interview will require a candidate to work on a case study where you will showcase your strategy skills to the panel for discussion.
  • If warranted, then we move to offer!
  • Please note: Although the job posting says it's in Atlanta, Georgia, this is a fully remote position. This is a result of our Applicant Tracking System requiring a location to post the role on LinkedIn.
