Job Description

The Vice President, Media will lead client relationships, strategic direction, and business growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategy
• Serve as the senior media lead on client accounts, delivering measurable results, building partnerships, and exceeding expectations.

Media Negotiations
• Continuously negotiate better rates, added value, and premium inventory.
• Further develop national and regional vendor relationships.

Business Growth
• Drive revenue expansion by identifying opportunities within current accounts and supporting new business efforts.

Media Innovation
• Stay ahead of media trends, platforms, and technologies.

Team Leadership
• Inspire, mentor, and lead client-facing teams to build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Operational Excellence
• Ensure initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality, aligned with agency goals.

Cross-Agency Collaboration
• Work with strategy, creative, media, and analytics teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Industry Engagement
• Serve as a thought leader in media, offering insights internally and externally.

Process & Execution
• Establish and refine media processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence.
• Develop best practices for planning, buying, trafficking, optimization, and reporting.
• Implement workflows, performance benchmarks, and quality controls.
• Streamline communication, improve efficiency, and scale processes to support client and agency growth.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in media and advertising.
• Strong experience with cross-channel planning and buying.
• Proven ability to grow client relationships and drive revenue.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
