About the Opportunity
The Vice President of Marketing & Communications is the architect of Kantata’s global brand narrative and the executive owner of how the company shows up across markets, audiences, and channels. This leader shapes corporate storytelling, strengthens market positioning, drives thought leadership, and oversees product marketing, communications, content, creative, digital channels, and media strategy.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leader ensures an aligned, data-driven strategy that supports revenue growth, elevates category leadership, and maintains consistent messaging across Sales, Product, Customer Success, People, and the Executive Leadership Team.

Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Brand Positioning
  • Define and execute Kantata’s global brand, communications, and market-positioning strategy.
  • Ensure brand identity, messaging, and visual expression reinforce competitive differentiation and category leadership.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CHRO, and CMO on brand, messaging, and corporate narrative.
  • Build and govern a global brand and communications framework that standardizes quality, voice, and visual identity across all regions, channels, and teams.
  • Establish the cross-functional operating model for how Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and People teams adopt and use messaging frameworks.
  • Create a company-wide single source of truth for messaging and positioning to drive efficiency, alignment, and execution across GTM motions.
  • Ensure alignment of messaging, positioning, and content strategy with Business Development, Customer Marketing, and Partner teams to support enablement, advocacy, and expansion.
Corporate Communications & Executive Messaging
  • Own all corporate communications, including PR, AR, media relations, crisis communications, change management, and corporate reputation.
  • Serve as the executive owner for leadership communications for internal announcements, organizational changes, and major strategic updates.
  • Partner with the CHRO to lead employee communications and support culture alignment.
  • Support the CEO with high-impact communications for employees, customers, analysts, investors, and the board.
  • Shape Kantata’s external narrative in partnership with the CEO, CMO, and CPSO, ensuring alignment across investor communications, board materials, analyst engagements, and major announcements.
  • Oversee ESG, DEI, and corporate responsibility messaging to ensure clarity, transparency, and consistency.
  • Personally craft or refine executive-level content, including speeches, bylines, internal memos, and strategic narratives.
Content, Digital, Creative & Channel Execution
  • Lead Kantata’s global content engine—web, social, digital, editorial, campaigns, and creative.
  • Ensure all content aligns with message architecture and global brand standards.
  • Drive SEO, organic traffic, digital engagement, and paid media performance.
  • Establish global standards for content quality, brand expression, and governance across internal teams, agencies, partners, and regions.
  • Oversee the editorial strategy across web, blog, research, and executive content to drive thought leadership and brand consistency.
  • Provide strategic content and creative direction for demand generation, digital campaigns, and lifecycle marketing to improve conversion and funnel performance.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure GTM playbooks and content reinforce message alignment and commercial impact.to ensure message consistency and measurable impact on conversions.
Executive Visibility, Thought Leadership & Analyst Relations
  • Advance executive thought leadership with high-impact speaking roles, bylines, and media opportunities.
  • Strengthen Kantata’s analyst presence through coordinated strategy, message alignment, and proactive engagement.
  • Maintain an integrated narrative across analyst relations, media, executive speaking, and corporate thought leadership.
  • Own the executive speaking calendar and ensure strategic participation in high-value industry, customer, and partner events.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product on event strategy, messaging, and executive visibility to maximize brand influence.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing global Marketing & Communications organization.
  • Oversee MarComm budgeting, agency/vendor management, and operational frameworks for planning and execution.
  • Define KPIs and dashboards to measure MarComm impact, reach, quality, adoption, and ROI.
  • Establish global workflows, processes, roles, and operating mechanisms across regions and sub-teams.
  • Drive cross-functional accountability across Product, Sales, Customer Success, People, Legal, and Operations to ensure timely execution and alignment.
  • Ensure all corporate, product, and internal communications meet the highest standards of quality, rigor, accuracy, and governance.

What You Bring To The Role
  • 15+ years in marketing and communications with global leadership experience.
  • Deep expertise in brand strategy, corporate communications, PR/AR, and B2B SaaS. 
  • Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead global teams and scale high-performance organizations.
  • Track record of influencing senior executives and aligning cross-functional partners.

Compensation :
$210,000 to $230,000 Base Salary + 25% Variable Bonus
