Role
The Vice President of Configured Products is fully accountable for the business results, execution performance, and organizational health of Tesco Controls’ Configured Products business. This role owns strategy, P&L, delivery, and continuous improvement for an emerging business unit whose goal is to expand Tesco’s markets in transportation, Original Equipment Manufacturers and pre-engineered “Smart Custom” products. This role will also partner very closely with other United Flow Technologies’ portfolio companies to define a range of standard product offerings and drive high fulfillment and volume towards the goal of increasing the synergies among the broader platform.
Core Accountabilities:
Own full profit and loss responsibility for the Configured Products business
Lead engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to specification
Define clear roles, decision rights, and success metrics across the organization
Partner with Sales, Operations and Business Development to align configured offerings with market demand
Implement KPIs, dashboards, and operating reviews, and use to drive overall team performance
Build and lead a high-performance leadership team
Establish clear expectations, performance management, and succession plans
Qualifications:
The ideal person started in engineering and Ops, and then transitioned to a commercial role with P&L responsibility.
10+ years of leadership experience in industrial automation, electrical systems, or engineered products
Proven P&L ownership in a configure-to-order environment
Experience leading cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain)
Track record of building accountability and execution discipline
Preferred:
Experience serving water/wastewater, utilities, or infrastructure markets
Lean, Six Sigma, or structured continuous improvement experience
Experience scaling operations in a growth-oriented organization
Compensation:
$190k-250k + potential for an annual performance based bonus
