Position Summary:

The Vice President, Clinical Informatics and Value Performance provides enterprise leadership across clinical analytics, medical economics, population health insights, and quality strategy. This role shapes how the organization leverages integrated medical, pharmacy, and population-level data to improve total cost of care, elevate clinical quality outcomes, drive program effectiveness, and enhance overall value delivery to clients and members. Reporting to an enterprise executive, the VP oversees multidisciplinary teams responsible for advanced analytics, predictive modeling, health economics & outcomes research (HEOR), population health performance measurement, and enterprise quality programs. This role enables evidence-based decision-making across the organization, strengthens competitive differentiation, and supports measurable improvements in cost, quality, and member experience.

What you will do:

Enterprise Analytics and Clinical Intelligence:

  • Lead the organization's clinical analytics strategy, integrating pharmacy, medical, SDOH, and population health data into a unified analytics ecosystem
  • Oversee predictive and prescriptive modeling to inform risk identification, optimize medication use, support care management strategies, and reduce total cost of care
  • Establish analytics frameworks that directly link clinical programs to improvements in utilization, outcomes, and cost performance

Medical Economics Leadership:

  • Direct medical cost analysis, PMPM modeling, utilization trend evaluation, premium and pricing analytics, and program effectiveness studies
  • Partner with finance, actuarial, clinical operations, and product leaders to interpret cost trends, quantify intervention ROI, and guide strategic decision-making
  • Lead creation of executive dashboards and scorecards to monitor financial and clinical performance

Population Health and Clinical Insights:

  • Guide population health analytics by evaluating chronic disease patterns, SDOH influences, pharmacy utilization, care gaps, and adherence trends
  • Use advanced analytics to identify targeted interventions that improve outcomes, reduce disparities, and support whole-person care strategies
  • Integrate HEOR and real-world evidence to support program design, value demonstration, and external storytelling

 Quality Strategy and Performance: 

  • Lead the enterprise quality function, including HEDIS performance, CAHPS improvement, Star Ratings contributions, value-based care quality metrics, audit preparation, and accreditation support
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical quality, patient experience, and provider performance
  • Align quality strategy with analytics and medical economics to ensure integrated enterprise outcomes

Client Value Demonstration and Market Differentiation:

  • Develop client-facing analytic deliverables, outcomes reports, and value narratives that demonstrate the organization’s clinical and financial impact
  • Strengthen RFP responses, renewal strategies, and competitive positioning through data-driven insights and compelling clinical storytelling
  • Represent analytics and population health performance in client meetings, industry forums, and business reviews

Data Infrastructure, Governance, and Enablement:

  • Champion modernization of data architecture, interoperability, governance, and automation to support real-time analytics and scalable reporting
  • Oversee integration of clinical, operational, pharmacy, and population health data sources across the enterprise
  • Ensure analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, AI/ML environments) support advanced modeling and reporting needs

Executive Leadership and Organizational Influence:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams in analytics, medical economics, HEOR, data science, population health performance, and quality
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across clinical operations, product, finance, sales, compliance, and technology
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, translating complex analytics into actionable strategic and operational decisions

 What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Health Informatics, Public Health, Data Science, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Economics, Pharmacy, Medicine, or similar)
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred; PhD, MD, or PharmD desirable
  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, medical economics, PBM, payer, clinical quality, population health, or related domains
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise analytics or clinical performance functions with measurable improvements in cost, quality, and operational outcomes
  • Expertise integrating medical, pharmacy, and population health data to support clinical intelligence and strategic decision-making
  • Experience building client-facing analytic narratives to support growth, retention, and market differentiation
  • Deep expertise in PMPM modeling, cost-of-care analytics, predictive modeling, statistical methods, and HEOR approaches
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytics for senior leaders and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive enterprise outcomes through cross-functional leadership, influence, and collaborative execution
