The Impact You’ll Make

Recursion is at the forefront of reimagining drug discovery through the integration of automated cell biology, high-dimensional and diverse data sets, and sophisticated analytics. We are seeking a Vice President, Biometrics to lead the Biostatistics, Statistical Programming and Data Management groups. In this role you will:

Develop and guide the scientific and statistical strategies and study design for ongoing and new studies across the Recursion portfolio in rare disease and oncology indications.
Oversee and ensure quality and timeliness for Biometrics deliverables (statistical, programming and data management)
Partner across Clinical Development to ensure that the conduct of Recursion’s studies meets all business and regulatory requirements.
Guide the management of outside vendors such as Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
Oversee the hiring of employees and contractors within Biometrics.
Manage the Biometrics budget.
Establish collaborative relationships with other internal anchors such as Data Science.

Location:

This is a majority remote position with required travel to the Salt Lake City headquarters once per quarter.

The Team You’ll Join

As Vice President, Biometrics you’ll report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and will be a key member of the Development Anchor Leadership Team. The Development Team is an empowered, execution-minded group of drug development professionals responsible for translating Recursion’s innovative science to patients through clinical development activities.

The Experience You’ll Need

PhD in Biostatistics or related discipline.
15+ years of experience in a Biostatistics or Biometrics group at sponsor companies or CROs.
Experience leading Biostatistics, Statistical Programming and Clinical Data Management groups.
Experience with regulatory submissions in the US, Europe and other regions.
Programming proficiency in a statistical language such as SAS, R or Python.
Familiarity with industry-wide data standards such as CDISC CDASH, SDTM and ADaM.
Effective skills directed toward driving collaboration, achieving results, influencing, and resolving conflicts across internal and external stakeholders
Oncology and/or rare disease experience is a plus.
Experience with data science is a plus.
