Part-Time Veterinary Nurse – Figtree Veterinary Clinic (Lane Cove)

Figtree Veterinary Clinic is looking for a passionate Part-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our small, supportive and diverse team on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on nursing role that includes:

• High-quality, professional client care

• Surgical prep, anaesthetic monitoring and recovery (training provided)

• Day patient hospital care (no overnight inpatients)

• Nurse consultations, triage and patient restraint

• IV catheter placement, blood collection and in-house pathology (Idexx/SediVue)

• Radiography, dental radiography and dental nursing (training provided; licence paid for Cert IV nurses if required)

• Assisting with ultrasound (in-house and visiting specialists)

• Stock control and limited reception duties as needed

About You

You’ll be someone who:

• Holds a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or has solid experience – uncertified nurses encouraged to apply)

• Has 2+ years’ experience in a small animal GP clinic

• Is organised, adaptable and enjoys a varied caseload

• Works confidently both independently and as part of a team

• Takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care

• Is computer confident (RxWorks experience desirable)

• Does not require sponsorship
