About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on GP nursing position, ideal for someone who enjoys all aspects of small animal practice and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with surgical and medical procedures
Monitoring and maintaining anaesthesia
Patient care and hospitalisation
Blood collection, IV catheter placement and diagnostics
Nurse consults and client education
Maintaining high clinical and hygiene standards
Supporting vets and fellow nurses across daily clinic operations
About You
You’ll be a great fit if you:
Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience)
Have previous experience in a small animal GP clinic
Are confident, compassionate and reliable
Work well in a team and communicate clearly
Take pride in providing gold-standard patient care
Are organised and able to manage a busy workload
