About Us
At Rockhampton Veterinary Clinic, we provide comprehensive, professional, and compassionate veterinary care. Our dedicated team understands the special place pets hold in your family. Dr Jessica and Dr April lead our team of experienced veterinarians, with special interests in small animal practice, exotic pets, dental care, and surgery.
Your Role
As a Part Time Small Animal Veterinarian, no two days are the same. You’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, including:
- Consulting with clients and providing high-quality care for their pets
- Performing routine and complex surgeries, from desexing to soft tissue procedures
- Using advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment
- Delivering preventive health care: vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness checks
- Educating and supporting pet owners while building strong, trusted client relationships
- Collaborating with a skilled nursing team and experienced colleagues
- Responding to emergencies with confidence and care
- Maintaining accurate clinical records for seamless continuity of care

About You
- A qualified Veterinarian with registration (or eligibility) with the QLD Veterinary Practitioners Board
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in small animal practice, though we welcome passionate vets at all career stages
- A great communicator and team player who enjoys building strong client relationships
