A bit about us

At Aberfoyle Hub Vet Clinic we understand that your pets are cherished family members. Since our inception in 1999 we have taken care of all types of furry and feathered friends including, but not limited to, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, plus a lot of dogs and cats of course!

We have an experienced and compassionate team who are committed to providing high-quality veterinary services, from routine health checks and vaccinations to specialised care and treatments. Our modern facilities are equipped with advanced diagnostic machines to ensure the best outcomes for our beloved patients.

We utilize a team consulting model, which allows our veterinarians to always have the support of our highly skilled nurses with them in the consult room. With the nurses present in all consultation this nurtures a unique relationship between themselves and the clients. This is something that our clients really enjoy and so does the team!

What it will be like for you

The key to most great clinics is the staff; and the vet nurses are a central and vital piece to the team. A nurse who can be the animal whisperer is what every pet owner wants. The ability to calm their furry friend and reassure them in times of stress are skills that are not just needed for the pet- parents but the vets alike.

That’s really what we are looking for in this role, we admit is a lot to ask but we strongly believe that highly skilled nurses are what makes our clinic a great inclusive place to work. We pride ourselves on being patient and client first and take the time to build and nurture these relationships

All our team are passionate about a positive learning environment. To make sure our nurses are highly skilled we will provide a tonne of support and opportunities to upskill, so you have to be ready for that.

  • We need someone 38 hours a week, but if you can only do part time we are happy to chat about how that would work for us
  • Have their Cert IV in Vet Nursing with some experience
  • Have a passion for building report with clients
  • Be able to keep the clinic neat and tidy
  • Have a positive can-do attitude
