BETA Technologies is seeking a Verification Engineer to support the definition, execution, and documentation of verification activities required to certify Interiors, Doors & Transparencies, and Cabin Equipment such as Interior Lighting, Smoke Detector, and Environmental Control Systems. This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of systems engineering and Cabin Systems design engineering, focused on verifying requirements at different levels in lab and integration environments. You’ll work hands-on with internal teams and suppliers to ensure  verification deliverables for Cabin Systems components are complete at the Component, System, and Aircraft levels, enabling certification document submission. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
  • Author, execute, and maintain plans, procedures, and reports to verify system and component requirements
  • Develop and execute test plans at the level appropriate to verify each requirement
  • Ensure traceability of requirements and verification activities
  • Actively participate in verification strategy development and certification deliverables
  • Ensure verification activities align with broader certification schedules
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams and suppliers to verify system functionality and integration
  • Report verification deliverable status to inform program management decisions
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or related field
  • Experience with ARP4754A-based verification
  • Experience with requirements-based testing, and traceability audits
  • Comfortable working with verification tools such as Polarion, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Experience verifying or designing Cabin Systems such as Interiors, Doors, Transparencies, Environmental Control Systems, Interior Lighting, Smoke Detection Systems
  • Above and Beyond Qualifications:
  • Background in aerospace or automotive verification & validation
  • Prior work in a certifying environment (Part 23, 25, 27, 29 or DO-based programs)
