Vendor Partnership manager

We are looking for a Vendor Partnership Manager reporting to the Head of Operations to help facilitate the smooth day-to-day running of the client facing side of the business. 

This role can be remote with regular travel to our office at “The Needle” building in central Sofia, with a requirement for international travel. 

Cashwave is expanding rapidly, and full training and support will be given to develop your career within the company. Fluency in English is essential. 


Main tasks: Vendor Partnership Management 

 

  • Managing the practical, day-to-day relationship between Cashwave’s Vendors in Western Europe, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction 

  • Lead the growth strategy for existing partner accounts while growing and building strong, long-lasting relationships with high level executives and decision makers 

  • Maximize the success of all Vendor partnerships through the use of data analysis 

  • Analyse data to prioritise new vendor leads, assessing the best ones to add to our network based on matrix factors such as security, API connectivity, discount and payment terms 

  • Lead the negotiation, creation and renewal of vendor contracts 

  • Sends out initial contract and NDA to new vendors and manage the feedback and changes in commercial, operations and technical terms between client and Cashwave and vice versa until the contract is successfully signed 

  • Negotiate for improved terms across our vendor network, ensuring a growth mindset 

  • Maintain company vendor leads and records information around all interactions in the Salesforce CRM 

  • Outline and execute a clear growth plan with all vendors, while fine-tuning and redeveloping as necessary 

  • Map and understand the organizational structure of the Vendor, ensuring that we maintain strategic partnerships across all areas of the customer, in order to maximize our “deep roots” within each partnership 

  • Coordinate our Vendor efforts with the two Vendor Partnership Managers focused primarily on Cashwave’s Central & East European markets. 

  • Become a strategic partner to all vendors you directly and indirectly manage 

  • Be an expert in our company messaging and be able to have senior level conversations concerning the benefit and impact of global strategy including sighting results attained and example stories regarding other vendor services by Cashwave 

  • Serve in a highly visible, client-facing role which requires excellent oral and written communication skills? 

  • Attend conferences and industry events as a representative of Cashwave in order to identify, build up relationships with, and close deals with potential new vendors 

  • Build, grow and liaise relationships between Vendors and internal executive level team 

  • Consistently live up to Cashwave’s core values and be a true role model to the team 

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of Cashwave’s products and services 

  • Work with the Catalogue Management and Operations team to ensure that Vendor brands are promoted throughout the Cashwave network 

  • Support the Operations Services Manager to create regular reports and customised forecasts and half-yearly review presentations. 

  • Assist with the preparation for Cashwave’s attendance industry conferences and events 

  • Work with the Marketing team to organise the creation and distribution of monthly newsletters and tailored e-mails plus the production of marketing materials of conferences and events 

  • Contribute to Cashwave B2C projects 

  • Professional written and spoken fluency in English, with excellent communication skills 

  • 3+ years of professional experience of managing multi-million Euro Vendor accounts, ideally in Vendor Management, Customer Succes, Account Management, Client Services and/or Business Development, preferably in the gift card or payments industries 

  • Evidence of a successful approach to Vendor Management 

  • Proactive approach and positive attitude 

  • Organized, focused and with an attention to detail  

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively 

  • Self-motivated person with an appetite to work in an international, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment 

  • Previous experience of managing a CRM or customer/vendor/client database 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft communication tools: (Excel is a must) etc.
