 About the role:

The main aim of this role is to help your colleagues deliver a world-class service to our clients. You will support our internal teams by the raising of purchase orders, that enable our vendor partners to get our projects into production. You will be a good team player with excellent communication skills. You will work closely with colleagues in our Delivery teams to understand and meet their requirements and expectations for our Localisation partners.  You will be used to working at a fast pace, being a reliable team member and commercially astute. Building strong relationships with team members and vendors is important.

Requirements

What you'll do:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with our delivery project teams.
  • Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.
  • Regular meeting with suitable vendors to inquire about the project progress. Negotiate pricing and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
  • Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
  • Establishing and monitoring standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.
  • Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
  • Support the issuance of all localization and freelance purchase orders ensuring that you have gained the correct information to gain purchase order approval
  • Will be first line of defense in performing due diligence to ensure that all purchase orders raised are covered by our budget
  • Maintain all PO records
  • Support the purchase order through the approval process
  • Issuance of purchase orders to our partner vendors once approved
  • Follow up on any POs rejected at approval and that still require approval
  • Advise payables of any project codes to be added to NetSuite
  • Reporting and keeping management up to date with BAU activity, initiatives and developing vendor strategy.

What we're looking for:

  • 4-5 years in Business Administration or relevant Project Management experience, supply chain management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease.
  • Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of Purchase Order process end to end including accounts receivable and payable
  • Understanding of NetSuite - (desirable not essential)
  • Understanding of Mineral Tree - (desirable not essential)
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications
