Role Summary The Senior Threat Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the organisation’s vulnerability management and threat detection capabilities. This role is responsible for monitoring and responding to security support requests, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and providing expert guidance to customers on strengthening their vulnerability management strategies. As a trusted technical advisor, the Senior Threat Analyst translates complex security and technical risks into actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and customers, driving improvements in security posture and operational efficiency. The role also contributes to root cause analyses, develops technical recommendations, and ensures high-quality documentation and knowledge sharing. What You Will Do
  • Monitor and respond to incoming support requests through tickets and chats.
  • Partner cross-functionally with the Taegis VDR Engineering team, to escalate platform issues, and shape strategy to enhance the product.
  • Drive team collaboration, to optimize efficiency from a programmatic standpoint, as well as a strategic standpoint.
  • Leverage your Vulnerability Management expertise to guide customers in developing and strengthening their VM strategy.
  • Translate technical risk intro actionable insights for leadership and customers.
  • Lead root cause analyses and provide technical recommendations for resolution.
  • Contribute as part of a team and as a member of a project team while also having the ability to work independently at times.
  • Create technical documents and knowledge base articles.
  • Document customer issues, adhere to SLAs and strive to deliver excellent customer service.

  • What You Will Bring
  • 5 years of software product support experience.
  • Strong understanding of CVSS scoring, patch management workflows, exploit analysis, and threat prioritization frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and advanced networking principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to interact with Customers
  • Deep knowledge of Vulnerability Management platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid 7.
  • Advanced familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
