VCARB F1 Team - Electronic Systems Engineer

TLDR

As an Electronic Systems Engineer, you'll manage race car electronics and ensure the functionality of all electronic devices at major F1 events.

Electronic Systems

Software programming and calibration parameters for sensors and actuators.

Electronics car setup procedures.

Management of logging and real time telemetry systems.

Electrical systems diagnostics.

Electrical system-related data analysis.

Track activity reports.

Communicate effectively with external suppliers at the track (PU supplier, FOM, FIA, EMM, Magneti Marelli) for all electrical system related topics.

Communication and Professionalism

Liase with electricians and control engineers and produce job list for electrical system activities.

Liase with other relevant groups at the track for all electrical system related topics (gearbox and systems, mechanics, engineers, …).

To always work in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in managing all the activities under their responsibility.

High School diploma or degree in electronics desirable.

Former extensive professional experience in motorsport industry.

Knowledge of Motion Applied software tools currently used in F1 or similar, including data analysis and configuration tools.

Knowledge of a race car electrical system, together with knowledge of its mechanical and hydraulic systems.

The position is based in Faenza (Italy), but travelling with race/test team is part of the duties.

Fluency in English is required, fluency in Italian is a plus.
