We're seeking a passionate UX/UI Designer with front-end development skills to join our team in Vancouver, BC (On-site). This role is design-first—we need someone with exceptional taste and a modern minimalist aesthetic who can also implement their vision in code. While development ability is required, design sensibility and taste are what matter most. We're looking for someone who can create beautiful, intuitive interfaces for enterprise-grade security software and bring them to life with React.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop user interfaces using Figma, React and modern tools (Tailwind, Framer Motion, Shadcn UI)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand user needs
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis
• Create user workflows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Implement intuitive interfaces with a modern minimalist design aesthetic
• Build and maintain our design system and UX patterns
• Identify and solve usability problems in existing features

• Location: Vancouver, BC (On-site)
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio or personal projects showcasing exceptional design taste and modern minimalist aesthetic, particularly for enterprise products (dashboards, CRMs, security applications). We want to see your design thinking, Figma files, and implementation skills!

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Figma (essential for design handoff and collaboration)
• Proficiency in React (primary framework)
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS (styling and responsive design)
• Experience with Framer Motion (animations and micro-interactions)
• Familiarity with Shadcn UI (accessible component library)

Design Skills (Primary Focus):

• Exceptional design taste and aesthetic judgment
• Modern minimalist design sensibility
• User-centered design principles
• Typography and visual design
• Interaction design
• UI copywriting
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance design and development workflow

Soft Skills:

• Passionate about design and development

• Knowledge of SQL, MongoDB
• Cyber Security knowledge

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: From $65,000/year (plus bonus eligibility)
