UX Designer (Part-time, Contractor)
TLDR
Elevate the product through hands-on UX improvements using modern, AI-assisted workflows while collaborating closely with engineers.
Job Title: UX Designer (Product Builder / Vibe Coding)
Type: Contract (Part-time, Flexible)
Location: Ho Chi Minh City (Hybrid/ Remote)
Workload: ~10–25 hours/week (varies based on product needs)
About the Role
We’re looking for a UX Designer with exceptional attention to detail and a strong product mindset — someone who notices what others miss and holds a very high bar for quality.
This is not a traditional design role. You won’t be working in Figma or producing static mockups. Instead, you’ll work directly in the product, identifying friction, inconsistencies, and rough edges, then improving them through hands-on iteration using modern, AI-assisted workflows (“vibe coding”).
This is a flexible contractor role. Some weeks may be light, others more involved. What matters is your ability to jump in, spot problems quickly, and elevate the product immediately.
You should feel uncomfortable shipping something that is just “good enough.”
What You’ll Do
● Identify subtle UX issues, inconsistencies, and friction points in the product
● Improve and refine UI/UX directly in the app with strong craftsmanship
● Turn engineer-built features into polished, intuitive, user-ready experiences
● Obsess over edge cases, states, transitions, and micro-interactions
● Continuously raise the quality bar across the product
● Collaborate closely with engineers to push beyond “it works” to “it feels right”
● Contribute flexibly based on evolving product priorities
What We’re Looking For
● Exceptional eye for detail — you catch misalignment, awkward flows, unclear copy, and inconsistencies instantly
● High standards — you care deeply about polish and product quality
● Strong product mindset — you think in terms of user outcomes, not just UI
● Builder mentality — you prefer fixing and improving real product over creating mockups
● Comfortable working directly in product environments (not dependent on Figma)
● Experience using modern / AI tools or vibe coding approaches to iterate quickly
● Ability to turn rough, technical features into clean, intuitive experiences
● High ownership and ability to self-direct in a flexible setup
What This Role Is (and Isn’t)
This role is:
● Flexible, part-time contractor role (10–25h/week depending on needs)
● Focused on improving the real product, not producing design files
● High ownership, high impact
This role is not:
● A full-time, fixed-scope position
● A traditional design → handoff workflow
● Suitable for purely visual designers without product thinking
Success in This Role Looks Like
● The product becomes more refined, consistent, and intuitive over time
● Small details are noticeably better—even if users can’t explain why
● Features feel complete and thoughtful—not just functional
● UX quality improves continuously without heavy process
How to Apply
Send us:
● Your CV
● A portfolio showcasing work you’re most proud of (especially work where you improved real product experiences)
We care more about what you’ve shipped and improved than polished case studies.
