UX Copywriter & AI Conversation Designer

Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a UX Copywriter & AI Conversation Designer to shape exceptional digital product experiences through impactful language and interaction design. The role combines UX writing, content strategy, and AI-driven communication, crafting microcopy, conversation flows, and content frameworks that guide, reassure, and delight users at every touchpoint. This position suits a creative professional who understands user behaviour, designs content that feels intuitive and human, and leverages generative AI tools to deliver precise, context-aware interactions.

UX Writing & Microcopy

• Write clear, concise, and human-centred copy for product interfaces, including buttons, menus, onboarding flows, and error messages.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting tone to context and user needs.
• Simplify complex ideas into intuitive, user-friendly language.

Content Strategy

• Develop content guidelines, tone-of-voice standards, and editorial frameworks that scale across multiple products.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to integrate content into the design process.
• Use research, analytics, and user testing insights to make data-informed content decisions.

AI Prompt Engineering

• Write, test, and refine prompts for AI-powered features to ensure accurate, relevant, and brand-aligned responses.
• Map and optimise conversational flows for chatbots, virtual assistants, and other AI-driven interactions.
• Explore and apply emerging generative AI capabilities to enhance user experience.

Research & Iteration

• Conduct content audits and usability reviews to identify areas for improvement.
• Use insights from QA cycles, A/B tests, and live user sessions to refine copy and conversational design.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or conversation design for digital products.
• Degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, or Communications, or equivalent writing qualification. Honours or Master’s degree preferred.
• Native or near-native English proficiency with exceptional editing and storytelling ability.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and content usability.
• Experience working with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and crafting effective prompts.
• Skilled collaborator with experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or equivalent.
• Experience optimising conversational AI for tone, inclusivity, and accuracy is a bonus.
• Knowledge of SEO and content performance metrics would be considered a bonus.
• Familiarity with localisation and content adaptation for global audiences is a plus.
