As a US Payroll Processing Expert at KAMI Workforce, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our US-based clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time while adhering to relevant laws and regulations. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Calculate and apply payroll deductions, benefits, and taxes.
- Review and verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to clients and relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with tax withholding and reporting requirements.
- Assist clients with payroll inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain and update payroll software and systems.
- Participate in year-end payroll reporting activities.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing for US clients.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in payroll software; experience with ADP is Highly Preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
