The primary responsibility of a US Mobilization Coach is to cast vision for God’s heart for the Nations by helping awaken others to a globally-minded vision of reaching the unreached with the gospel. They work to mobilize the church to DISCOVER God’s heart for the nations and discern their role in His plan, to DEVELOP laborers and leaders as multiplying disciples in a 9-month life-on-life apprenticeship and help to DEPLOY them to strategic opportunities among unreached people groups to facilitate the multiplication of healthy churches. Mobilization Coaches serve as either engaged staff with several churches in a particular area or as embedded staff at one particular church body. Embedded church Mobilization Coaches will report to both a LG supervisor and designated church leader such as the Missions Pastor of the church. Mobilization Coaches are expected to work an estimated forty-five to fifty hours per week on average. Schedules will vary for each team, for each individual, and in different seasons of mobilization, but may require early morning or late night meetings. Sunday is considered a work day, and Friday is a day off. All Launch Global Ministry Staff are also asked to spend one full day a month in prayer and evaluation (DOPE) for their ministry work. Mobilization Coaches may also assist with various other projects as needed. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • MOBILIZE churches to develop laborers and leaders who multiply healthy churches among unreached people group
  • MODEL for others the rhythm to spend 
    • at least three hours with Jesus each week;
    • at least two hours reaching out to the lost each week;
    • at least one hour in prayer for lost friends and the world with others in your community.
  • Carry out the “Super 7 activities” as described below:
    • OVERFLOW: First and foremost, seek to develop and maintain an abiding relationship with Jesus in order to work from overflow, not overwork;
    • DISCOVER and maintain a list of people to help DISCOVER God’s heart for the nations through leading or inviting/introducing others to activities such as: trainings on evangelism, Xplore studies, Perspectives/Mission of God classes, prayer walking, prayer gatherings for the nations, short-term mission trips, CPM training seminars, books/resources on missions, etc.
    • DEVELOP those people God may be calling to go to the nations by recruiting them to a 9-month training community for personal and ministry development and either participate in or lead a 9-month this training community;
    • DEPLOY those in your 9-month training communities by coaching them through a discovery of how God has shaped and called them and then assist them in investigating opportunities to serve in their most strategic role to see the multiplication of healthy churches among unreached people groups;
    • PROACTIVELY participate in professional development activities;
    • Raise and maintain personal FINANCIAL MINISTRY PARTNERS;
    • Seek to strengthen the ministry TEAM and TEAM leader through fostering a spirit of humility, prayer, encouragement and service to one another.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Successfully completed a 9-month training program with Launch Global OR Mobilization Intensive;
  • Understand, affirm and adhere to Launch Global’s Statement of Faith;
  • Agree to uphold Launch Global’s vision and mission 
    • Vision: The multiplication of healthy churches among unreached people groups;
    • Mission: Launch Global exists to mobilize churches to develop laborers and leaders who multiply healthy churches among unreached people groups;
  • Demonstrate all the character, Launch Global, and biblical values as stated in the Launch Global Staff Handbook;
  • Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ;
  • Participate in a child safety training program upon hire and other similar employment-related requirements.
