POSITION: U.S. House Campaigns Research Associate (2 openings)
LOCATION: Washington, DC
AB PAC, a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions, is hiring a Research Associate to join our U.S. House Campaigns research team for the 2026 cycle. This position is based in our Washington, DC office.
Primary responsibilities include:
Working as part of a team to produce comprehensive opposition research products on Republican candidates in competitive House of Representatives races across the country;
Collecting information from public sources, including legislative votes, news clips, campaign finance reports, financial and legal records, and research databases;
Reporting results and findings to senior staff;
Performing rapid response research projects in key electoral races;
Other duties as needed.
Skills and qualifications required:
Passionate about House elections
Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines a must
Strong commitment to teamwork
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivation, the ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment
Experience with primary source documents and research databases such as LexisNexis is preferred.
Previous political research experience is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $65,000 for this position and a strong benefits package.
