Role Overview

Our client is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented University Recruiter to join their team for a 6-month contract. This isn't just a "filling reqs" role - you will be the primary talent partner for their COO business unit. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle for intern and high-priority (P1) roles, while simultaneously driving the "on-the-ground" experience for our summer intern cohort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnership: Act as the dedicated recruiting point of contact for the COO hiring team. You’ll advise on market trends, candidate pipelines, and hiring best practices.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the end-to-end hiring process for all COO internship requisitions and any urgent P1 university-level openings.
  • Summer Programming: Partner with the broader University Recruiting team to design and deliver engaging summer programming (events, speaker series, networking) that ensures a world-class intern experience.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary mentor/contact for the intern cohort, maintaining high touchpoints to ensure engagement and retention.
  • Conversion Strategy: Help lead the "Intern-to-Full-Time" conversion process, including performance evaluations and final offer calibration for the COO business.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in University Recruiting (Fast-paced tech or corporate environments preferred).
  • Stakeholder Skills: Proven ability to manage relationships with senior leadership (VP/SVP levels).
  • Program Savvy: Experience organizing intern events or early-career development programming.
  • Agility: Ability to pivot quickly between high-volume screening and high-touch candidate management.
  • Systems: Proficiency with modern ATS (e.g., Greenhouse)
