Underground Mechanic

Must have the ability and desire to learn and understand prints and manuals, diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment and an ability to perform as a field mechanic as required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Perform all work required
• Perform all assigned tasks with limited supervision
• Perform all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to safety requirements
• Perform outside work in varying weather conditions
• Meet physical demands for the role
• Performs high quality maintenance activities
• Train to use computer-based maintenance systems
• Successful working as a Team Member/Contributing to The Team Success
• Quality Communication and Communicates effectively with others.

• On-the-job experience and vocational training
