Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering assistance for general underground maintenance activities.
  • Support the Maintenance Engineering Superintendent with daily maintenance and operational requirements.
  • Respond to direction from site leadership regarding maintenance priorities and project needs.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring underground maintenance work.
  • Contribute to documentation, reporting, and knowledge sharing during the overlap period.
  • Ensure adherence to site safety standards, procedures, and engineering best practices.

Note - This is a 3 month contract role.

Requirements

  • Experience in underground maintenance engineering, mining, or heavy industrial maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime based on project demands.
  • Ability to integrate quickly into an existing team and support short-term project objectives.
