UI/UX Designer (Part-Time)

As a UI/UX Designer at Remotebase, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall experience of our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to develop intuitive and engaging interfaces that align with user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design strategies.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Design intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience while ensuring brand consistency.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to communicate user needs and behaviors.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction.
• Mentor junior designers, contributing to their professional growth and development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve designs.
• Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail in typography, color, and layout.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
