Title:
TSA Compliance Coordinator
Job Purpose:
The TSA Compliance Coordinator will support U.S. locations with cargo security, TSA IAC regulation requirements, CTPAT, and monitor security best practices for the company. The TSA Compliance Coordinator will function as a member of the Operations team and will report to the Operations Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support US TSA Compliance Program
- Maintain compliance with Marken Security procedures, TSA regulations, and CTPAT requirements at the local level
- Perform internal facility security audits including maintaining CTPAT requirements
- Maintain TSA and CTPAT documentation according to record retention requirement
- Monitor Facility access management and ensure visitors, contractors, and all employees are following control access procedure
- Conducts security-related employee training; including TSA and C-TPAT
- Consult with various departments to determine departmental security training needs
- Receives and records requests for training
- Reports and escalate security issues, emergency situations, and TSA inspections in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher level of education or equivalent business experience
- Minimum 3-5+ years of related industry experience
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Ability to present and conduct training to large groups
- Individuals for this role should have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Individuals must be respectful of others and be well-respected by their peers
- The Individual should be comfortable working independently and be able to manage multiple activities occurring simultaneously
- Knowledge of US and international cargo security programs and best practices
- Strong knowledge of TSA or CTPAT requirements and screening facility management
- Ability to read and interpret complex TSA regulations, laws, and concepts with reasonable ease
- Ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for contingencies)
