SHIFT PATTERN: 20 hours per week, will include some weekends

Main Duties & Responsibilities:   

  • This is a dual role which may include a variety of tasks but specifically:  
  • To collect loose trolleys from all areas of the centre and secure them safely in the designated areas for public use. 
  • To perform various cleaning & waste management duties as required. 
  • To ensure that all duties carried out are strictly in accordance with our standards & policies so that quality work is delivered, meeting/exceeding our expectations.  
  • To always wear well laundered company uniform so that Castlepoint Shopping Park’s’ reputation for professionalism and quality is never compromised.  
  • To ensure that all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with Castlepoint & ABM’s Health and Safety procedures. Moreover, to demonstrate their commitment to the fact that each Castlepoint/ABM employee has a personal responsibility for their own health and safety and for that of persons who may be affected by their acts/or omissions.  
  • Whilst at work to effectively assist with the public in a friendly & professional manner. 
  • To carry out your duties as directed by the Supervisor. Moreover, to always consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements to working practices exist, putting forward suggestions so that ‘continuous improvement’ is the norm.  
  • To work in a proactive manner supporting/assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so.  
  • To undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationally required.

  • The right person for this role will ensure exemplary standards in respect of the trolley management & cleaning service provided at Castlepoint Shopping Park.  
  • Will support colleagues so that teamwork thrives. 
  • The right person will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest standards are always adhered to. Professional always and proactively interacting with the public as required.  

Essential:  

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.  
  • Excellent customer care skills  
  • Smart Clean Appearance – well-groomed always 
  • Totally committed to high standards & quality 
  • Full UK driving licence
