About The Role As a Merchandising Leader at Trendyol, you will negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure the best price, quality, and delivery terms while developing data-driven supply strategies based on sales, market trends, and stock insights. You will optimize purchasing processes with a focus on cost efficiency and timely delivery, build strong and sustainable supplier relationships, and resolve procurement issues quickly. In this role, you will adapt to changing market dynamics and balance cost-effectiveness with customer expectations to ensure a smooth and competitive supply operation. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Effectively negotiating price, quality and delivery conditions with suppliers
  • Developing correct supply strategies by analyzing sales data, market trends and stock data
  • Optimizing purchasing processes by taking into account factors such as cost efficiency, quality and delivery time
  • Establishing strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers and developing cooperation
  • Solving problems encountered in procurement processes quickly and effectively
  • Adapting to market dynamics, cost effectiveness and balancing customer expectations
  • Global Sourcing and Vendor Management: Oversee the procurement processes for raw materials and finished goods from various international markets (e.g., Far East, Egypt), maintain relationships with global suppliers, and integrate new vendors into the portfolio.
  • QUALITIES WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • At least 10 years of experience in textile and fashion product supply processes
  • Experienced in sourcing & buying processes, especially knowledgeable in weaving and outerwear products and fabrics
  • Experience in working with international supply chains and ability to manage supply processes with different options
  • Having knowledge of all supply chain processes from supplier selection to product delivery
  • Knowledge of working with procurement software, ERP systems and other digital tools suitable for the e-commerce industry
  • Minimum 5 years team leadership and coaching experience
  • Exceptional communication, persuasion, and team working skills, excited to work with different teams within the company
  • Able to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Highly analytical and comfortable with complex data sets, creative problem solver who thrives with ambiguity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
