This internship is a great way for students to get their foot in the door and see how a global Fintech company manages its money.

Key Details

• Duration: 2 Months (July 6th to August 28th)
• Location: While we support a remote setup, interns must be based in Gibraltar for the duration of the program.
• Mandatory Onboarding: Physical attendance is required for our onboarding sessions on July 6th and 7th.

What You'll Do

Over the course of the program, you’ll have the chance to work directly with our Treasury team, assisting with cash flow monitoring, liquidity management, and financial reporting projects. This role is perfect for students studying Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field who want to apply their analytical skills to practical capital management challenges in the fast-paced fintech space.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to high-impact Treasury projects, focusing on areas such as secured lending and Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) tasks to gain a deep understanding of core banking functions.
• Develop a foundational knowledge of how risks are managed across both traditional banking and cryptocurrency landscapes, a unique opportunity in the fintech space.
• Assist in the critical process of aligning Treasury policies with our internal risk appetite, internal policies and ad-hoc requirements.
• Gain practical experience with Treasury day-to-day operations of a sophisticated bank treasury.
• Get a holistic view of how a bank's Treasury functions, moving beyond routine tasks to understand strategic financial management

Skills needed

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Maths, or something similar.
• Some exposure to financial analysis, accounting principles, or corporate finance through your studies, personal projects, or previous internships is beneficial.
• A basic understanding of how cash moves in a business, interest rates, or how financial markets work is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling you to explain financial findings and collaborate effectively with the team.
• You have a "numbers eye" with the ability to approach data entry and financial tracking methodically to ensure total accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills with a genuine willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced Treasury and Fintech environment.
• Ability to work well within a team, with excellent collaboration skills and the confidence to ask questions when learning new processes.
• Any exposure to risk management frameworks, budgeting, or simple data visualization (like basic charts/graphs) is a plus.
