Training Operations Specialist

Who we are Hi there 👋 We’re Ethena, compliance training that customizes itself to you. Ethena combines top-rated training content with intelligent AI that builds and adapts training to reflect your company’s unique brand, roles, policies, and risks, so it feels like your team, whether that’s hard hats or virtual meetings. From auto-assigning courses based on HRIS data to transforming your policies into interactive training in minutes, Ethena helps People, Legal, and Compliance teams launch in days (not months) and cut learner seat time by up to 60% with adaptive learning paths. Ethena supports 1M+ learners across 2,000+ organizations, with a 93% learner approval rating and 96% customer renewal rate. Over the past several years, we’ve delivered consistent, durable growth, including 120%+ net dollar retention, 95%+ gross dollar retention, and strong enterprise expansion across industries. Ethena has become a go-to compliance partner for modern, global organizations. Beyond training, Ethena unifies core compliance tools, Hotline & Case Management, Policy Bot, and Phishing Simulator, into a single platform, with built-in audit trails and compliance controls teams can trust. Trusted by teams at companies like Genesco, Asana, Pinterest, and Synaptics, it’s a great time to join us. How we work We’re a team that values diversity in all its forms and loves adding new perspectives. We ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, and build with empathy, for customers and for each other. We care about craft, we love feedback, and we take ownership. We also embrace humor (yes, the puns are real), because doing serious work doesn’t have to feel so serious. Our workforce is fully remote, and your personal working hours can be based on your own timezone. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of all North American time zones. Ethena is looking for a detail-oriented Training Operations Specialist to help us scale our content. This role is perfect for someone who can learn new technology quickly and has a keen eye for detail. As a Training Operations Specialist, you’ll be supporting our fast-growing content library by expanding our course library to be available for strategic partners. You’ll use your writing chops, visual skills, and technical know-how to map dozens of courses onto another platform with ease, and leverage your keen eye for detail to QA your work to perfection. Why Ethena? Because it’s a need-to-have vs. a nice-to-have. We save companies thousands of hours a year with innovative ways to deliver compliance training, deliver 93% learner-loved content, and meet compliance needs without creating administrative overhead. In a world where every tool is expected to do more with less, Ethena delivers for admins, employees, and leadership teams alike. Reports to
  • Laura Kuhn, Content Operations Lead
  • What you'll do
  • Rebuild and format ~50 core Ethena courses within our strategic partner’s platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a polished learner experience.
  • Work from existing finalized Ethena courses and partner templates to accurately recreate and optimize them within a new system.
  • Creative Optimization: Act as a "content translator"—making smart, independent decisions on character length, image placement, and UI layout to ensure our content looks and feels premium in a new environment.
  • Accessibility & Inclusivity: Ensure every learner has a first-class experience by managing AI audio generation and writing descriptive, high-quality alt-text for all visual assets.
  • Technical Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous QA on your own work, catching the "small things" (broken links, formatting glitches, or tone inconsistencies) before they reach the partner.
  • Collaborative Lifecycle Management: Work closely with the Content Operations team to provide status updates, pivot based on feedback, and iterate on processes to speed up delivery.
  • Timeline
  • We expect this project to take 4-6 weeks of 40 hour work weeks.
  • Aside from check-ins with the operations team, this work does not need to be completed during standard 9-5 business hours.
  • This contract will complete no later than May 20th.
  • What success looks like
  • By the end of this project, you will have:
  • Successfully migrated ~50 courses
  • Maintained visual and structural consistency
  • Delivered assets that pass QA with minimal revisions
  • What makes a great candidate
  • The Detail Detective: You have a borderline-obsessive eye for detail. You’re the person who catches a double space or a missing period from a mile away.
  • The Tech-Forward Thinker: You don't just use tools; you master them. You’re excited about using AI and automation to work smarter, not harder, and you’re comfortable jumping into new software with minimal hand-holding.
  • Visual & Narrative Intuition: You understand how content flows. You can look at a block of text and an image and know exactly how to arrange them for maximum engagement and clarity.
  • Ownership Mentality: Even as a contractor, you treat the work as your own. You are reliable, meet deadlines consistently, and take pride in delivering a polished final product.
  • At Ethena, we're committed to fair and equitable compensation. We carefully evaluate each candidate's skills and qualifications to provide our best possible offer upfront. Our no-negotiation policy ensures that our first offer is always our best offer, promoting pay equity throughout our organization.
