We are seeking a Training Consultant, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Client Education. This role focuses on training and advising users at community financial institutions on Abrigo’s Credit & Lending solutions, with an emphasis on agricultural analysis, collateral evaluation, and loan decisioning. Training may be conducted virtually, onsite, or a combination of both. The position can be based in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remote.

What You’ll Do 

  • Deliver tailored one-on-one and group training (virtual and onsite) for lenders and analysts using Abrigo’s credit and lending software, with a focus on agricultural and commercial portfolios. 
  • Guide clients through workflows such as farm financial statement analysis, cash flow forecasting, collateral management, and loan structure recommendations. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating deep understanding of ag lending policies, loan grading, and industry risk trends. 
  • Collaborate with implementation and project management teams to ensure clients achieve successful adoption and measurable outcomes. 
  • Complete all post-training documentation, follow-up sessions, and client feedback reviews to confirm readiness and satisfaction. 
  • Provide ongoing consultative support across the client lifecycle, including product enhancement feedback and strategic insights.   
  • Develop and refine training content, knowledge base content, and other educational content that highlight agricultural use cases and regulatory considerations. 
  • Support internal enablement by coaching peers and cross-functional teams on agricultural credit practices and system functionality. 
  • Continue to expand product and industry expertise through active participation in training, conferences, and peer collaboration. 
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Need 

  • 3+ years of experience in agricultural lending, credit analysis, or financial consulting; or 3+ years in SaaS training or management consulting focused on agricultural lending. 
  • Strong understanding of agricultural finance, including farm financial statements, crop and livestock lending, and collateral valuation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor educational content for diverse audiences, including loan officers, credit analysts, and executive management. 
  • Proven skill in translating complex technical and financial concepts into clear, actionable learning. 
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both in-person and virtually. 
  • A client-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship management. 
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team process improvements and client success initiatives. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%. 
  • Familiarity with commercial lending systems, risk rating models, or credit analysis software preferred.
