The Training Compliance Lead is responsible for governing, validating, and assuring the compliance of all training programs across the organization. This role acts as the quality check for training—ensuring that training requirements, curricula, records, and outcomes meet FAA, AS9100, OSHA, customer, and internal quality standards.
Operating as a backend organizer and compliance steward, this position vets training priorities, approves training frameworks, and verifies that training systems effectively support airworthiness, safety, conformity, and operational readiness. The role serves as the primary interface between Training and Quality organizations, providing oversight, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of the training system.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
Establish and maintain the training compliance framework in alignment with FAA, AS9100/AS9110, OSHA, customer, and internal quality requirements.
Interpret regulatory, contractual, and quality standards and translate them into enforceable training requirements, controls, and acceptance criteria.
Vet and approve training programs, curricula, and qualification schemes to ensure compliance before deployment.
Ensure proper version control, approval workflows, and change management for training materials.
Ensure the integrity and compliance of LMS and digital training record systems.
Provide compliance guidance during new program launches, process changes, or regulatory engagements.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in training program management, instructional design, or learning and development within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Strong understanding of training program lifecycle management, from needs analysis through design, delivery, and evaluation.
Ability to develop appropriate assessment strategies and tools for compliance documentation.
Experience developing or managing content within a Learning Management System (LMS).
Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical experts to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences.
Commitment to safety, compliance, and workforce development as foundational pillars of manufacturing excellence.
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field.
Experience in aerospace, aviation, or regulated manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with FAA, OSHA, or AS9100 training and compliance frameworks.
Proven ability to design and manage competency-based learning pathways for technical teams.
Skilled in applying modern learning technologies, digital platforms, and analytics to enhance training impact.
