About Your Role:

As a Quality Product Safety Compliance Engineer (QPSCE), you will be operating in a fast paced and multidisciplinary development environment. The QPCSE drives the compliancy of the Avery Dennison products with safety regulations, by supporting projects with the implementation of those regulations during the design phase and the final safety validation. 

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

• Follow-up Product Safety Legislation (REACH, Rohs, …)
  
• Creation and maintenance of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for Avery Dennison final products (Personal Care, Industrial and Medical)
  
• Management of biocompatibility documentation for Medical products. Creation of related statements for customers.
  
• Creation and maintenance of IMDS (International Material Data System ) files for Tapes (Automotive)
  
• Management of the PSM (Process Safety Management ) project in Turnhout
  
• SPOC (Single Pont of Contact) for all safety and quality questionnaires of Industrial, Personal Care and Medical customers.
  
• Managing the approval flow of the final product specifications (Personal Care, Industrial and Medical)

What we will be looking for in you:

• Master or Bachelor chemical engineer
  
• >3 years experience in the chemical industry
  
• Project management experience
  
• Knowledge REACH legislation
  
• Excellent communications skills
  
• Service and Customer mindset
  
• Independent, conscientious attitude, avoid legal compliance issues
  
• Fluent in Dutch and English
