🙌The Role: Support Facilitator 
Boundless Education is transforming current systems of education. Our educational concept 
empowers all students to explore their natural creativity, discover their true passions, and 
shape their own future. We apply competency-based assessment through place based 
experiential learning that is supportively led by educators as facilitators. We are seeking a 
passionate, dedicated Support Facilitator to join our 13-14-year-old Trailblazer group, as well 
as facilitate place based learning experiences that encompass core competency 
development.

This role is designed to strengthen different elements of our programming by 
supporting the Lead Facilitator, while also bringing local knowledge, connections, and 
language support (Spanish) that ensure meaningful collaboration with the community. 
Support Facilitators are partners in education, working collaboratively to provide the best 
possible educational experience for each child. This role will be especially focused on 
supporting our local partnerships for curriculum planning, and assisting with 
on-the-ground execution alongside our Lead Facilitator. 


Primary Responsibilities 

Learning Support & Facilitation:

  • Assist the Lead Facilitator in delivering engaging, personalized learning experiences 
    for students aged 13-14.
  • Lead facilitation in the Academic Studio (online learning) portion of the day, when the
  • Lead Facilitator is engaged in planning activities.
  • Provide targeted support during lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Lead small group instruction or one-on-one support sessions as directed by the Lead 
    Facilitator.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing input to the Lead Facilitator to inform 
    adjustments in teaching methods and content.
  • Bring local culture to life in the classroom and beyond. 

    Student Well-being & Environment
  • Support students during SEL Connect, Place-Based Experiences, Boundless Time and 
    Academic Studio.  
  • Act as an advocate for students with academic, social-emotional, or behavioral concerns, 
    promoting inclusiveness and well-being.
  • Foster a culture of belonging by modeling appropriate social skills and providing 
    mentorship to students in both academic and social-emotional development.
  • Supervise and guide students during lunch/snack breaks, and playground activities. 

    Collaboration & Planning
  • Work collaboratively with the Lead Facilitator, curriculum team, and other staff to ensure an 
    aligned and consistent learning experience.
  • Contribute to planning sessions and brainstorming ideas for interdisciplinary projects and 
    experiential learning.
  • Assist in developing engaging and meaningful activities tailored to student needs and 
    interests. 

    Operational Support
  • Step in to cover Lead Facilitators in case of absence, ensuring continuity in the learning 
    experience.
  • Assist with classroom organization, setup, and cleanup to maintain an effective learning 
    environment.
  • Support with administrative tasks and ensure learning resources are available as needed.

🫶 About you

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with students aged 13-14 is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and strong knowledge of La Barra’s local community and culture 
    are essential.
  • Passionate about student-centered learning and able to foster curiosity, creativity, 
    and critical thinking in students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and collaborate 
    effectively with colleagues.
  • Willingness to take initiative, solve problems in dynamic environments, and adapt to 
    changing needs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing 
    environment for students.
  • Familiarity with project-based and experiential learning methodologies is a plus.
