RaceOn is looking for a
Trackside Performance Engineer to analyze data, optimize vehicle performance, and sharpen race strategies. You’ll work side-by-side with race engineers and drivers to turn telemetry into a competitive advantage - on and off track.
Your mission
What you’ll do:

Data analysis: interpret race/test data using Cosworth, MoTeC, Atlas to maximise performance

Simulation & optimization: leverage simulation to improve vehicle performance

Python modeling & automation: accelerate analysis and build performance models

Race strategy support: deliver real-time insights and decision support (including AI-backed tools)

Trackside support: travel to races/tests to troubleshoot and optimize in real time
Your profile
✅ Education & Experience:
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Motorsport, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in performance engineering in Formula E, F1, WEC, or similar high-level motorsport categories.
- Strong expertise in vehicle dynamics, tire behavior, and control systems.
- Proven trackside experience, collaborating with race engineers and drivers to fine-tune vehicle performance.
✅ Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Cosworth/ MoTeC/ Atlas, etc).
- Experience with lap time simulation tools and simulator environments.
- Strong capabilities in MATLAB and other engineering analysis tools.
- Python skills for automation and analysis
- Knowledge of measurement technology and telemetry applications.

- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous performance optimization.
- Time flexibility and willingness to travel advantageous but not necessary.
