The goal of this role is to work with the team to increase results and time recording process effectiveness with standardization and automation. This role is accountable for managing daily workload and tasks in area of missing time reporting, timekeeper chasing and general time recording support for serviced European offices. It also requires training and support of users, effective relationships built with external as well as internal clients (Finance teams in the region, Partners, Customers).

The main goal is to increase accuracy and timeliness of time recording across all the offices in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Verification of Time Recorded and Released
  • Chase timekeepers to record their time
    • Sending reminders
    • Specific follow-up for some timekeepers (e-mail and phone)
  • Monitor misallocated time
  • Create daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc Time Recording reports and standard reports as requested
  • Monitor and quality check of data (narratives) entered to the system
  • Verification of time recorded to Temporary Matters
  • Coordination of work with secretaries, partners, all timekeepers and other members of the Finance Team
  • Control of what is already done, what is pending, mastering their work schedule up until the monthly closing
  • Work on maintaining procedures and documentation
  • Provide training sessions

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in multinational organization (Finance area preferably)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal (English )
  • Confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. )
  • The ability to focus on detail and follow-through on commitments
  • Able to prioritize based on vision and strategic goals and multi-task particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Resourceful and demonstrate strong problem solving skills (“growth mindset”), with the ability to make judgment calls in an experienced and professional manner
  • Team player but also able to work independently and effectively with individuals at all levels within a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in working with internal and external clients, excellent customer service focus
  • Continuous improvement mindset and challenging “status quo”
