As a Thermoforming Operator – Molder at Bath Fitter’s Tennessee Plant, you will play a hands-on role in molding, trimming, bending, inspecting, and packaging high-quality acrylic bathtubs and shower bases. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet production and quality standards before reaching our customers.
Full-time position (Non-Exempt / Hourly)

Fabricate acrylic tubs and shower bases according to production manuals
Sand, buff, trim, and repair products to meet quality standards
Perform thermoforming of tub fronts and bend tub rails
Cut and shape acrylic components using band saws, routers, and other tools
Operate production machinery and equipment safely
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure packaging standards are met
Transport materials, molds, and inventory to workstations
Take precise measurements using tape measures and measuring devices
Rotate across different workstations as production needs require
Enter production data into computer systems
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or production environments preferred
Ability to operate saws, routers, robots, and other cutting tools
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Ability to accurately use measuring tools and tape measures
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Comfort working in environments with heat, humidity, and moving mechanical parts
Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (such as Navision) is an asset.
