Community Options, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization providing residential and community-based services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Therap Training Coordinator to support the effective implementation and ongoing training of the Therap Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across our organization.
This role is ideal for a technology-savvy professional who enjoys training others, analyzing systems, and driving continuous improvement.
Schedule: 24 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings as needed
Location: Can be based out of any Community Options local office nationwide
Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the Therap system to ensure operational and security integrity
Respond to requests for information, assistance, and system support
Deliver engaging, effective training to build user competency
Conduct individual and group training sessions (in-person and remote)
Perform training needs analyses across the organization
Develop instructional materials including handbooks, multimedia aids, tutorials, and reference guides
Evaluate employee progress during training periods
Revise curriculum and training methods to improve effectiveness
Ensure consistent system implementation across all regions
Analyze system data and communicate trends to the Therap Administrator
Identify system or process improvement opportunities and collaborate on quality improvement plans
Conduct periodic visits to regional offices to support quality objectives
Cooperate with licensing and regulatory inspections, inquiries, or investigations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 1–2 years of related experience
OR
High school diploma with 7–10 years of related experience
1+ years’ experience with Therap EHR strongly preferred
Experience with the Therap Electronic Record System preferred
Marketing or digital arts background a plus
Flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, evening availability required)
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and presentation skills
Technological proficiency with web-based communication and virtual training platforms
