A robust fail-safe mechanism, including redundant configurations, is essential for automated driving systems. It is extremely important to detect system failures and perform fail-safe operations for automated driving systems. We use vehicles and simulations to evaluate the fail-safe mechanisms, contributing to vehicle software’s quality improvement. We are seeking engineers with strong professional testing skills, who are eager to take on new challenges in integrated testing for automated driving technology. The ideal candidates are capable of evaluating ADAS systems and fail-safe mechanisms, identifying and analyzing problems, and managing issues found during AD/ADAS vehicle evaluations to boost software performance and quality. They are innovative, able to propose ideas that add value, and excel in communication, fostering strong relationships with software engineers, test drivers, and diverse stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES ・Build and manage evaluation plans that meet Project status ・Build test scenarios based on fail-safe requirements and analyze evaluation results (Build test scenarios for system requirements) ・Execute integrated test based on software and hardware knowledge ・Promote problem management and solving in agile development ・Improve the evaluation process MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The following skills and experience are required. ・Experience 　　　・3+ years professional experience as a Testing Engineer  ・Technical 　　　・Ability to verify that software requirements are met  from the user’s perspective 　　　・Knowledge of AD (Automated Driving)/ADAS (Advanced driver assistance system)  ・Management 　　　・Excellent problem solving skills, hypothesis verification and task management skills 　　　・Documentation skills 　　　・Ability to plan to structure a variety of information and develop a coherent plan ・Language 　　　・Business Level Japanese (N2 and above) 　　　・Conversational English level NICE TO HAVES

Basic knowledge of C++ / Python

Experience with Linux

Experience with agile software management tools (e.g. JIRA)

Knowledge/ Development experience with on-vehicle electronic systems

Knowledge/ Development experience with fail-safe  for safety-related systems

Experience with AD/ADAS development

Business level English
