JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a Tester contractor for Canadian public sector projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of software through systematic testing processes
• Intermediate tester is to identify and document bugs, verify fixes, and ensure that the final product meets the specified requirements and user expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Post-secondary education mandatory
• More than six (6) years' experience as a Tester
• Experience in conducting all the following:

1. 1. Creating test cases
   2. Conducting testing (functional, non-functional, and regression)
   3. Defect life cycle testing, including the following tasks: raising defects, triage defects, tracking defect resolution, performing confirmation tests
   4. Designing, creating, and maintaining automated regression test suites.

• Participating in functional and technical design reviews
• Working other internal and external resources to ensure that the requirements for developing software applications are clear, unambiguous, complete, and measurable
• Experience working in Agile product team environments
• Spoken and written English required. 
• Experience in Katalon Studio and Playwright strong asset
• Government of Canada security clearance (Reliability) and former public sector work experience an asset

RATE: $70/hour, 7.5 hour workday

Position status: Contract, full-time, remote. The first part of the project would go until March 31^st, 2026 and a high possibility to be extended for another year.
